Refunds
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated 14 August 2026
How cancellation and refunds work for a StitchInvoice subscription. This is separate from how payments your clients make to you on an invoice are handled — see the section below.
Free plan
The Starter plan is free, so there's no subscription charge to refund on it.
Paid subscriptions
Professional, Pro Autopilot, and Studio are recurring subscriptions, billed monthly or annually depending on what you choose at checkout. The price and billing interval are shown before you complete a purchase.
Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel a paid subscription at any time through your account's billing settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your paid access continues through the end of the billing period you've already paid for, and doesn't automatically delete your account.
Refunds
Subscription charges are generally non-refundable once a billing period has begun, except where applicable law requires a refund or StitchInvoice expressly approves one.
We'll review refund requests involving duplicate charges, confirmed billing errors, or other exceptional circumstances — contact us promptly if something looks wrong. Nothing in this policy limits any statutory right you have that can't be excluded or limited by agreement, including any withdrawal right that may apply to digital services in your jurisdiction.
Annual plans
Cancelling an annual subscription stops the next annual renewal, subject to the statutory rights above. We don't currently offer a prorated refund for the unused portion of an annual term.
Changing plans
If you switch between plans or billing intervals, the change takes effect immediately and Stripe automatically calculates and applies the prorated difference to your account.
Payments your clients make to you
This policy covers what you pay StitchInvoice for your subscription. It does not cover payments your own clients make to you through an invoice.
When a client pays an invoice through your connected Stripe account, that payment goes directly to your business — you're the merchant of record, not StitchInvoice. Refunds, disputes, and chargebacks on that payment are between you and your client, governed by your own policies, not this one.
Refund processing
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. How long it takes to appear can depend on your bank or card issuer, which we don't control.
Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects any rights you may have under applicable consumer law that cannot be excluded or limited by agreement.
